Are the slingshots automatic?

Yes! We have fully automatic slingshots available for rent as well as manual slingshots if preferred.

What if it rains?

There are no refunds due to undesirable weather conditions whether it is before or during your rental reservation. We can reschedule you for another time prior to your rental time and make certain that your new reservation is first in the queue.

Do I need insurance to rent a slingshot?

Yes, we do require renters to either use our daily insurance that can be purchased for $12/day or put down their own insurance.

Can you deliver the slingshot to me?

Yes! For a fee of $50, we can pick up and drop off the slingshot at your desired location. Price can vary if location is further than 10 miles from Texas Slings. Delivery of the slingshot is only available for 24+ hour rentals.

How is the security deposit handled?

We ask for a $500 security deposit on all rentals which is due at the time of the pick-up or delivery of the slingshot. This is not a charge, but an authorization. You can choose to give the security deposit in the form of cash or card. Once the slingshot is returned damage free, in the same condition as when picked up, the $500 security deposit will be immediately returned.

What is the fuel policy?

Fill er’ up! All slinghots are rented with a FULL tank of 93 octane gas and must be returned with a FULL tank of 93 octane gas. You can also let us do the refueling for you for a fee of $40.

What is the refund policy?

We do not issue refunds. We ask that you do plan accordingly for the day of your reservation. However, if you are absolutely not able to make it on time for your reservation, we will give you credit that can go towards your next rental. Please contact us in order to reschedule.

How old do I have to be to rent a slingshot?

21 years old. The driver must also be 21 years or older. Passengers must be 10 years old or older. All passengers must be able to sit back against the seat with feet firmly planted on the floorboard, which people at the height of 5’2” and above should be able to achieve.

Do I need a helmet?

In the state of Texas, you are not required to wear a helmet while operating a slingshot. However, we can provide a pair of helmets if you feel more comfortable wearing one while riding the slingshot.
